Amazing summer tours in Santorini
Santorini is an island with "many faces" and, for you to see all of them, we provide you the perfect combination for your vacation on the island.
The best choice for every traveller who wants to fully enjoy Santorini is to spend 9 to 10 days on the island.
Choose a nice hotel in Kamari, as your base for the first week. Here, you are close to everything: the black beach, supermarkets, souvenir shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the bus station to get to the center.
Spend the first day relaxing, strolling through the village along the beach. Get to know the area you will be staying at for the next 7 days. Find a nice, traditional tavern and finish the evening with a good glass of local wine.
On the second day, you can start exploring the island with our "First Impressions" tour. Join our tour to see all the highlights of Santorini, one of which is Oia, the northernmost village, famous for its cavehouses, Profitis Ilias the highest hill, Pyrgos, an example of medieval architecture with narrow, labyrinthine paths, and taste the award winning wines of Santorini.
On day three, take a local bus to Fira, the capital of the island and go down to the old port Gialos. Here you can hope on one of the traditional caiques to go to the volcanic islands, hike all the way up to the active crater of Nea Kameni, and swim in the thermal springs of Palea Kameni. After your adventurous boat tour, spend the afternoon shopping arround the alleys of Fira.
A hike over the mountain Mesa Vouno to Perissa can be the program of the fourth day. On your way you will find the cave church Zoodochou Pigis and the excavations of the ancient town of Thera, which was the first settlement after the huge volcano erruption in 1615 BC. Before you come back on a watertaxi that runs every 30 minutes from Perissa to Kamari, take advantage of the fine sanded black beach and the crystal blue water.
Day five can be dedicated to “Hidden Paths” tour, a great opportunity for you to explore hidden spots of magnificent beauty. Discover hidden churches, admire breathtaking landscapes, relax on secret beaches and stroll through fascinating villages on a jeep tour we organize for you.
The archaeological excavations of Akrotiri should definitely be on your agenda for the sixth day. You can get there easily on a public bus or even with a rented car. After the tour through the ruins, you can take a water taxi to the Red Beach, which is not only famous as an amazing backround for photos, it is also very refreshing. And you can find beautiful fish taverns with delicious fresh seafood dishes right next to the beach.
On the seventh day go and “Discover Thirassia”.  Explore the authentic, unspoiled "sister island" opposite Santorini. Meet the locals and discover a hidden cave house village. Thirassia is one of the group of 5 islands that form Santorini. Thirassia was split at the volcano eruption 3.600 years ago. So close and yet so far from Santorini, Thirassia stayed untouched by tourism. Let us take you back to Greece like it used to be 50 years ago and give you insights about the agriculture and the art of wine making.
Time to move – Find a nice, romantic hotel built on the cliffs of the Caldera, either in Oia or Imerovigli. Stay on your private balcony all day and feel like the “King of the island”. Laze in the sun, relax reading a good book, enjoy the view and the sunsets and do nothing all day. Arrange so that the breakfast is brought to your room, take advantage of the spa facilities that some of the hotels offer, and, if you are lucky, you will even have your own jacuzzi.
Doesn't that sound like the perfect holiday on the most beautiful island?
